DVR, or Digital Video Recorder

The DVR is the heart of a camera system. It records the video to a hard drive, usually when it sees motion on a camera. We hook our DVR into the Internet and allow you to view the cameras live, playback recorded footage, and set up the DVR to notify you upon certain events. For example, you can set it up to text you a video clip of someone tampering with your camera, or to send you a snap shot when the kids come home from school, or if a delivery man puts your package on the back porch. We choose high-quality DVRs and configure them to record at a quality that you could use to assist the police in their investigation.
